Where are my images (pages and books) stored on Windows 8 and 10?
TwistedBrush creates folders named Book1, Book2, etc. under the TwistedBrush folder. In Windows 8 and Windows 10 your files are saved in the folder where you have installed the program. By default, this is C:\ProgramFiles\Pixarra\TwistedBrush.
If your Windows system is 32 or 64-bit, then your files are saved by default in C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Pixarra\TwistedBrush or C:\ProgramFiles (x64)\Pixarra\TwistedBrush.
Windows may save part of your images as compatibility files. For example, this can happen if you start running the program as an administrator. Then your previous images will be saved as compatibility files. In this case, most probably you can find them in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles\Pixarra\TwistedBrush.
In Windows 8 and 10, system files may be hidden from you by default. If you can’t find your AppData folder in the C:\Users\User destination, you will need to unhide it by clicking the View tab in Windows Explorer and check the Hidden items option. Another way to find your TwistedBrush temporary files is by entering %Pixarra% in the search box of Windows Explorer.
