Gradient Tool

The Gradient tool is used to make a smooth transition of colors across your canvas.

Basic Gradient

  1. Gradient tool
  2. The color bar colors in combination with the color mode selection determine the colors for the gradient.
  3. Here is a linear gradient between 2 colors. Radial gradients are also supported.

Alpha Gradient

Alpha Gradient

Gradients can also start or fade to alpha (transparency).

  1. The Color to Alpha option is selected.
  2. The gradient is drawn from the upper left to the bottom right. Notice the gradient goes from white to transparent.
